Siemens ACUSON Sequoia diagnostic ultrasound system
The current ACUSON Sequoia is Siemens Healthineers' premium general imaging ultrasound platform, reusing a famous older name for a new system. It covers abdominal, OB/GYN, cardiac, vascular, small parts and musculoskeletal work, with shear wave and strain elastography, contrast imaging and a liver fat index (UDFF). Successive software versions add transducers and measurement tools, which is why several recalls concern calculations rather than hardware.
