BMEssentia Medical City is a desktop application for Windows and Mac. You walk a 3D hospital campus, open any device in the Device Lab and practise the real work of clinical and biomedical engineering in 12 simulations and 3 stories. It is part of BMEssentia Premium, or available on its own.

What is the difference between the Device Library and the Device Lab?
The Device Library is on the Platform: each of the 69 devices explained in 13 written sections with illustrations. The Device Lab is in Medical City (69 devices · 156 variations): walk up to a device, press E and it opens in interactive 3D, with its own hands-on curriculum. Both feed the same progress record.
Which computers run Medical City?
Windows and Mac. Install the desktop application, log in with your BMEssentia account and the licence verifies itself. It keeps working offline for 7 days after the last check.
Can I buy Medical City without the platform?
Yes. Medical City only costs $39 a month, $89 a quarter or $249 a year, or $599 once (or 3 payments of $209). The one-time licence plays forever on your version with 12 months of updates, then the Update Pass at $99 a year.
What happens to Medical City access if I cancel Premium?
Medical City stops working at the end of your billing period. Your progress is saved and resumes when you subscribe again with the same account.
