GE HealthCare SEER 1000 Multi-Channel Digital Holter Recorder

The SEER 1000 is a small, displayless Holter recorder that stores 2 or 3 channels of ambulatory ECG for 24 hours, 48 hours or 7 days on internal flash memory. It runs on a single AAA cell and has one button and two LEDs; patient details, hookup checks and signal preview are handled over Bluetooth from a PC or iOS app, and data is read out by USB into an analysis system such as GE MARS or CardioDay. It does no cardiac analysis itself. GETEMED in Germany builds it and GE HealthCare sells it.

Not covered: The only full manual found is an Internet Archive copy of GE document 2067634-131 Rev E that appears to be machine translated back into English, with garbled tables; facts were taken only where the meaning was clear. In the blink code table the rows for codes 1 and 2 were jumbled; code 1 is listed as the firmware CRC failure from the row order, and code 2 (internal memory or solder joint fault) was left out. Codes 3 (internal clocks) and 7 (real time clock) read clearly but are not listed separately. Check every entry against an original English GE copy before publishing. No openFDA recall and no MAUDE records were found for the SEER 1000 or its 510(k). There is no service manual, so no repair, calibration or part number content.
