Recalls

Known FDA recalls.

Safety

Safety warnings from the record.

  • With affected power boards, loss of AC mains causes a reboot that interrupts mechanical and manual ventilation and agent delivery, and settings are not restored. Source
  • Ineffective ventilation in VCV on affected units means the mode must be verified before relying on it. Source
  • Elevated inspired CO2 is possible if the absorber seal is incomplete; if increased fresh gas does not correct it, change to another machine. Source
  • Pause Gas Control stops gas, agent, ventilation and alarms for one minute, so staff must know it is active. Source
