Verathon GlideScope Core Video Laryngoscope System
GlideScope Core is Verathon's current video laryngoscope platform: a 10 or 15 inch monitor that drives Spectrum single use blades through a reusable cable or Titanium reusable blades directly, often on a workstation stand. A camera and LED near the blade tip show the glottis on screen for routine and difficult intubation. Earlier GlideScope GVL, AVL and Titanium systems share the blade families and many of the recall histories.

Safety
Safety warnings from the record.
- Not assessed for MRI; keep the system out of the MR environment. Source
- The premium workstation arm is spring loaded and can jump up when the monitor is removed; raise it fully first. Source
- A workstation with a Core 15 monitor can tip in extended positions; lower and retract the monitor before moving it. Source
- Titanium reusable blades need high level disinfection; an older manual wrongly allowed low level disinfection. Source
- Keep radios and phones at least 30 cm away to avoid image degradation. Source

Not covered: Video laryngoscopes are not covered by public 510(k) summaries in the search used, so no FDA clearance is cited. The manual lists on screen alert messages but no coded error table was found, so errorCodes is empty. Several recalls concern older GVL, AVL and Titanium products rather than Core itself but share blade designs. Recall records were read through openFDA.
