Beckman StatSpin Express 4
The StatSpin Express 4 is a compact, high speed horizontal benchtop centrifuge for rapid separation of serum and plasma from primary gel collection tubes, used in hospital stat labs, clinics and point of care settings. It spins up to eight tubes and offers fixed 3, 5 and 10 minute programmes with no speed setting to choose, and the lid stays locked until the rotor stops. Its horizontal swing design gives a flat gel barrier, but its high speed rotor has been the focus of several recalls.
