Eppendorf Centrifuge 5702
The 5702 is a compact benchtop low speed centrifuge used in clinical and research labs for blood tubes, cell work and routine separations, with swing bucket and fixed angle rotors. The 5702 R and RH add refrigeration. It has an automatic imbalance detector, motorised lid lock with emergency release, two program keys and a parameter lock, and shows short display codes for faults.

Safety
Safety warnings from the record.
- Load rotors and buckets symmetrically with only the specified tubes; imbalance increases drive wear and noise. Source
- Wait for the rotor to stop before opening the lid; the lid stays locked while the rotor turns. Source
- An overspeed error (Er 7) means the speed system cannot be trusted; do not keep using the unit. Source
