Safety

Safety warnings from the record.

  • Do not test or service a sensor while it is monitoring a patient. Source
  • Only staff familiar with the monitor should use it, and it should be kept out of the patient's reach when idle. Source
  • The AC adapter has a non resettable, non replaceable fuse, so a failed adapter is replaced, not repaired. Source

Not covered: The manual is a 2010 R1.5 edition hosted by a reseller; later revisions may differ. In the NIBP alarm table the code column and message column extracted separately, so the E89 to E80 pairing was read from table order and should be checked by a reviewer against a clean copy. The service manual (calibration, leak test, 900 series definitions) was not available. No FDA recall names the V100.
