Riester ri-scope L Otoscope

The ri-scope L is Riester's modular otoscope family. The L1 has direct lighting, while the L2 and L3 use fibre optics and the L3 adds a speculum ejector. Heads fit Riester type C or AA handles, run on 2.5 V alkaline cells or 3.5 V rechargeables with rheotronic dimming, and take XL xenon or LED lamps. A swivel 3x lens moves aside so instruments can be passed into the canal.

Not covered: The manual copy is a reseller hosted file of unknown revision. The manual's lamp table lists the 3.5 V LED lamp at 2.5 V, which looks like a typing error; only the current and life figures are used. openFDA has no Riester recalls or MAUDE records.
